And the Gold Medal in Hurdling Goes To......

I think they messed up at Fast Friends Adoption - I think they gave me a DEER instead of a greyhound! (Which is awesome since I have always LOVED deer and think that is one of the reasons why I love greyhounds...they do resemble deer!)

Anyway, I was vacuuming today. First I did the upstairs to make sure she wasn't freaked by the noise. So far so good.

Then, I came downstairs. We have hardwood floors but we do have a rug near the couch and coffee table.

Vacuum starts, she seems ok.

Vacuum comes closer towards her...there goes the deer!!!

She LEAPED over the couch and went halfway up the stairs to watch.

Go for the Gold!

I always wanted to know what it would be like to have a pet deer.
Now I know!

*On a serious note, thankfully nobody was hurt. She could have easily slipped on the hardwood floors as she came over the couch. She must have been training for this at Joyce's house or something.
