When I went to bed last night, she was downstairs with Craig (he was still watching tv.) I figured she would just sleep down there again.
When Craig came up to bed at around 1:30am, I woke up and he was pointing towards Gracie's bed. SHE WAS THERE ASLEEP! :)
Apparently she came up while Craig was watching tv and decided to sleep in our room. Too cute!
This morning she was playful outside and inside. When I was upstairs she brought her soft ball to me from downstairs. I threw it, she chased it, and then she brought it back a few times for more. Love it!!!!!!
When we were playing downstairs she did try the couch again...seriously it looked like there was a horse standing on the couch! I giggled to myself but then had to bring out my "Off!" as much as I'd rather let her on there ;)
In time....in time...just yet.

I am so proud of both of them for these 2 interactions. Gracie shows no interest so far. She treats Béla as if she is any other thing in the house right now. Béla has shown interest in getting closer to Gracie, so I monitor interactions very carefully when the muzzle is off. So far so excellent!

| By the way....greatest gate invention EVER! Béla has her own "safe room" if she ever needs it. Sometimes just just likes to sit there and watch Gracie. |

I definitely will go that route if enough time passes and we don't see much improvement. Since it has only been a week, I'm willing to give her a lot more time. Thanks for the suggestion :)
DeleteOh my god she has made great strides in a week. I don't think you are in any need of a personal trainer at this time. You are doing a great job, it shows both in Gracie and Bela.

DeleteI new she would give in and get up those stairs for bed time! Go Gracie go! She is loving and wanting to be with you. Did she wake you in the morning with a cold nose? So happy for you all.

No cold nose yet! I was trying to fake sleep as long as I could so she wouldn't get into the habit of waking me up. It was hard not to get up and want to play with her as soon as I got up, though!!!
